Heather served as the Circulation Manager of SOUL magazine (a Toronto-based Rhythm & Blues publication) during the mid-Sixties. She also served as a judge of both musical and oratorical competitions. From 1968 through the early Eighties, Heather was CKOC's music contact with Southern Ontario's key record retailers on a weekly basis, collecting the research that formed the logistics of the famous CKOC CHART. Many CKOC staffers refer to Heather affectionately as "The First Lady". She has always been a giant fan of "The King Of Rock n' Roll".

Mary Thombs
Tabulator

Mary is a retired elementary school teacher with the Hamilton District School Board and has developed a computer program to record and identify winners of the ETA competitions, almost immediately after receiving the score sheets from the judges. This has improved the accuracy of the results and reduced the long wait for results that are always a problem with other judging teams. Mary is one of the many reasons that the King's Court is the preferred judging panel for competitions. Mary is also a licensed life insurance representative, available to assist families with their insurance needs.

She is on a continual hunt for more Elvis memorabilia, published articles, interviews and trivia. She has even managed to find many items from as far away as Australia that aren’t available at the Graceland web site. Echo has judged in the Collingwood Elvisfest and is married to former CKOC Oldies 1150 personality Dale Parker.

DOUG HOBBS
Forrmer Associate Judge

Doug Hobbs was an announcer on CKTB 610 in St. Catharines and an oldies expert. He was also a scorekeeper for the Toronto Blue Jays MLB team and did a coast to coast sporting feature on the TSN network. Doug began his performing career as "Dougie the Magician" on the Uncle Bobby TV show on the CTV network. Doug's knowledge of Elvis music was second to none as he could recite the names of all of the musicians on all of the King's recordings and could never be stumped by the so-called experts. We were honoured to have Doug as part of our judging team and his passing was a huge loss to his many fans.
